Factoring in the cost of the importation process, you could buy an AWD Suzuki SX4 hatch and a lift kit for that kind of money ( they do exist .)

If I can join Team Ballaban Rally as a spotter I’ll contribute up to, but not exceeding 79 cents.

RoRo shipping is reasonable to the east coast and it’s a runner. Cash in some of that Jalopnik stock and do it.

Man I drive one of those. That exact colour but with the soft tops (which, of course, randomly leak). The best “bad” car ever, it's just utter joy driving it

Why would you lift past what you need for suspension travel?

I could do it if you (or I) were to find one in the Netherlands or in Germany. Bonus would be that the steering wheel would be on the correct side. I have shipped to the US before (E30 wagon).

Can I draw attention to this shot. That’s some seriously interesting garage: Fiat 126 on Cinquecento Sporting alloys, Mini x 2, Ford Escort Rs1600, Scimitar (?), Alpine (?).

Somebody could buy it and ship it to me for me DAILY, let alone rally, haha! I have a thing for cheap, utilitarian Italian econoboxes! :P

This one is pretty rough, but I would still buy it if the price were a little lower.

Remember though, Michael, it may be a 4x4 Panda, but it wouldn’t be a great choice for a rally car as the 4wd is selectable, and there’s no differential for the 4wd!
